Multimedia Storytelling-Ice Harvesting
This next project we did in my Mutlimedia Storytelling Class is a perfect example of what Multimedia Storytelling really is. In my project I used various shots and even an interview to make things more interesting. Have you ever wondered what ice harvesting really is? Well in this next project I did, I explain about the different steps one needs to take in order to accomplish this.
Multimedia Storytelling #3 My Family:)
In my Multimedia Storytelling class, or next assignment was to take photographs by using the rule of third, which we learned in class. This was a very fun assignment and I enjoyed taking all of my pictures.
This first picture is a picture of my mom when we were in Alabama. We had a lot of fun that day. The rule of third used here was a medium shot. As you can see, my mom’s body is in the first vertical grid of the rule of third.
The following picture is a picture of my baby=) He was actually trying to get a treat from my mom. Since this picture was taken, he always tries to eat our table food. This is an example of an extreme close up. My dog’s head touches all four of the grid lines.
This last picture is a picture I took of the sunset when my family and I went to Dauphin Island, Alabama. It was very cold that day, especially on the beach. =O The sun is on the vertical line of the rule of third. This is also an example of a medium shot.
Photo Assignment: Spring Is Here!
Almost like a switch, it went from being cold and blustery to warm and sunny once Spring Break came around. The weather is warming up finally, and it shows all around.
The first picture is one of local stores stocking up their allergy medicines. Spring does have its downsides, such as runny noses and watery eyes. No need to worry. The stores are making sure to offer medicinal relief so you can enjoy this wonderful weather. This picture uses repetition and a slight diagonal.
The second one is of the trees in bloom on the Southern Miss campus. The sun is shining through the branches and leaves, making for too beautiful of a day to be cooped up in class. This photo uses the rule of the thirds because the path is in the lower left third of the frame. It’s also an example of a long shot.
The last photo is an example of an extreme close up. The picture is of a bikini top with a sunglasses pattern on it. With spring here summer isn’t too far off, so everyone better get ready for those days laying out by the pool or on the beach.
