Kanye & Kim’s being model citizens
With Kim Kardashian’s due date quickly approaching, you would thin it would only be a matter of time before all of her close friends and family showered her and rapper-boyfriend Kanye West, 35, lavish baby gifts. Little did they know the controversial couple had a little something different of their sleeves.
It was the pair’s decision to direct all close friends and family to donate to the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, which is located in the area that West grew up in. The hospital released a statement, expressing their gratitude.
The baby is do in the next two mouths. This will be both Kardashian’s and West’s first baby. To donate to the hospital click here.

K F Ridley Speaks on Cultural Diversity at Children’s Book Festival
The 2013 Children’s Book Festival at the University of Southern Mississippi took place April 10-12th. It is an annual book festival that is open to all Children Librarians and Teachers.
This year librarians and teachers visited booths of various authors and attended several presentations put on by accredited children’s authors, one author being, K F Ridley, bestselling author of “The C Walker Adventures” series.
The Half Asian author talked briefly to me about her first experience being involved in the Children’s Book Festival, her publishing company, and her new book.
In Ridley’s presentation she talks to the audience about her childhood. She was abused everyday by her father. She was a misfit and the only Asian student all throughout grade school. She revealed her pain and her plans to create Fantasy stories to escape her harsh reality.

5 year-old boy kills younger sister

Tuesday, in a Kentucky home, a 5 year-old boy was playing with his birthday present, a .22-caliber rifle, shot and killed his 2 year-old sister. The state is ruling it as an accident
