FBI investigators are still struggling to find the culprits behind the Boston bombing. Now there were pictures taking of a very peculiar looking bomb that goes by the name of a “pressure cooker.” The picture and directions on how a person could make one was published in an online magazine by Al Qaeda.

This video is from the CBS Website. Even though there is no sound to it, I found this video very interesting and I thought I would share it with you today.

The Big Event-Southern Miss

leave a comment »

In this next project of my MCJ Multimedia Storytelling class, we hd to put together a movie 1-3 minutes in length of any topic of our choice as long as it was newsworthy. In the movie we had to make sure to include the five-sequence shot which is something we previously learned in class. I shot my movie on the the Big Event which was hosted by Southern Miss a week ago. It was a community service project and anyone could come. There weren’t a lot of participants this year, so next year they are working on trying to recruit as many people as possible.

Also, in this class project we had to use our editing skills and incorporate some Broll into some of the slides. I found this part to be the most challenging. By the end of this project I can now say that I am comfortable with not only editing in iMOVIE, but I am also more comforting into adding Broll into it. 🙂

leave a comment »

So it’s official, as a result of the tragic death of MTV’S Buckwild star Shain Gandee, the show will not be returning for it’s second season. There still isn’t any news on the cause of his death. When the truck was found, the tail pipe was submerged in a mud pit. Invisible gases could have leaked into the vehicle causing the death of Gandee and the two other people in the truck.

For more information, please visit the link below.

Sequel to Finding Nemo Finally!:)

I know I talk a lot about new movies coming out, but this is something that really interests me.:) So when I heard about the news that there would be a sequel to Finding Nemo, I couldn’t wait to come here and write about it. Although the film won’t be out until November 2015, a script has already been written and producers are hard at work on it.

MTV Buckwild’s Shain Gandee found dead.

After watching CNN just now, I learned that reality star Shain Gandee from the popular MTV show died yesterday. He was found in a truck in a woody and muddy area in Kanawha County, West Virgina. Investigations are still underway to find out exactly what happened.

This is a very tragic time for the Gandee family. My heart and prayers go out to them.
