Hi, students!

Welcome to the spring 2013 class of Multimedia Storytelling. We had a lot of fun in this class last semester, and I am sure we will have a great time this semester, too. Y’all get a bonus. You can peruse this blog and see what the students who took this class last semester did with the blog. I hope you will build on their foundation and make this blog even better. This blog is intended to showcase your work in the class and gain a readership for your journalism. It is also a place where you can discuss examples of other people’s multimedia story telling, explaining what you like — and don’t like — in their work. One of the best ways to improve your own storytelling is to critique others and see what you can learn from them. That’s the point of this blog.

I look forward to exploring telling a story through multiple platforms, including video, audio, photos, text, blogs, and social media.

Let’s get started.
